After four postponements caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the second stage test do XXXI Unified Order of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) is applied this Sunday (6th), all over Brazil.
This is the first major national examination conducted in person during the pandemic. 49,084 applicants are expected to the tests.
The examination will be held between 1 pm and 6 pm. Orientation at arrive two hours in advance to avoid crowds.
In the province of SP alone, 10,000 candidates are registered to take the test at 33 application points, which gives an average of 303 candidates to each test location.
The exam is optional. According to the OAB, anyone who does not want to take the test this Sunday will be automatically enrolled in the next issue of the exam, which has not yet been released.
To reduce potential coronavirus transmission, the OAB has adopted the following preventive measures:
- Alcohol gel in entrances, corridors, toilets and application rooms
- Thermometer to measure the temperature at the test sites
- Distance between test takers
The OAB exam, which will be held this Sunday, was scheduled for April 5. This is not the first time the race has been rescheduled.
In 2018, the practical test scheduled for May was held in June, due to the truckers ’strike.
In 2016, there was a change in the objective test day in Salvador. As of July, it was August.
And in 2012, Ipatinga (MG) re-applied due to lack of electricity. The start date, on December 16, has been rescheduled to January 6, 2013.
