The statue is 30 meters long and will reflect the natural light of our stars

Since Elon Musk I started to launch Tesla Roadster with a mannequin having to wear as an astronaut into space. We know both things: Musk is an exceptional person and is definitely fine to send something more memorable than a rocket to the space; that's why we're not losing anything of the support that is SpaceX give the artist Trevor Paglen so that one of its statues overlaps space.

It's about "Orbital Reflector" A magnificent diamond-shaped sculpture with a surface that can reflect the natural light of our stars. The statue measures 30 meters and is built by the artist in collaboration with the Nevada Museum of Art.

How will it reach the space?

Here it's interesting: the statue will bend until it reaches the size of a brick and then it will be presented in a CubeSat that will be attached to a rocket Falcon SpaceX 9. The launch of this rocket will take place next November 19.

Once in space the statue will develop 563 km above Earth. The brightness that can be seen without problems from the human eye is likely to be seen. Two months after we show all our splendor to us, it will begin to disappear until it is finally attracted by the Earth's gravitational power.

This is how the Orbital Reflector will look into space

The first time that Paglen will not interact with space, since 2012, The Last Pictures released a silicone album with a series of photos of Earth in the hope that some disorder could be meeting it and could know how life on our planet.

The first time a statue will not override the space. At the start of 2018 this company Rocket Lab has sent the statue secretly in the form of a geodesic circle Star of Humanity from Peter Beck (CEO of Rocket Lab), stimulating endless opinion among the scientific community.
