The IMF will decide in March if it makes a Chronic new charge

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) executive board will analyze on March 26 to approve a new Argentine broadcast for a large amount of 10,700 million dollars, within the $ 56,7 million million refusal agreement signed in October.

This was reported by the sources of the meeting held on Friday afternoon by the Finance Minister, Nicolás Dujovne, president of the Central Bank, Guido Sandleris, and representatives of the IMF, which corresponds to the third amendment of the agreement signed in June and extended in October last year.

"It was a positive and constructive meeting, the next reform in June, and of the IMF, expressed an agreement with the implementation of the government-funded financial and financial program"Additional sources of the Treasury.

The mission of the international movement was extended for two weeks where the finals of Argentina's economy were not just analyzed, but meetings were held with opposition leaders, economists and trade unionists of the General Labor Confederation (CGT).

During these two weeks, the IMF delegates, led by the head of the case "Argentina", the Italian Roberto Cardarelli, they met with the leaders of the opposition Sergio Massa a Juan Manuel Urtubey, as well as fellow Economy Ministers Axel Kicillof a Roberto Lavagna, among others.

But not only was the IMF waiting with the opposition leadership word but last yesterday with the heads of the CGT to listen to the most urgent needs of employees.

IMF officials were accepted at UOCRA headquarters by trade unionists Gerardo Martínez, The Hector Daer, The Julio Piumato, The Roberto Fernández, The Andrés Rodríguez a Sebastián Maturano, and they listened to a menu of proposals that turned to tariff adjustments, inflation and the reduction in purchasing power.

In this context, the IMF representatives will return to Washington and on March 26 they will decide whether they make the money that is entered into the agreement, although all the signs show that there will be no objection to this.

The contingency agreement made with the IMF had two stages: the first in June last year for a total of US $ 50,000 million and the second in October that represented an extension of the loan to US $ 56,700 million , in this case with a commitment to advance classes in return for this year's financial balance, together with a stronger financial policy order to include inflation.

Since then, the Argentine authorities are committed to reducing federal government funding and debt needs, and to set the debt down, to strengthen the financial boundary.

In this context, Dujovne should reach a primary balance of public accounts this year to show, from 2020, surplus jobs that are the basis of growth in a consistent macroeconomic scenario.

In terms of financial policies, the limitations of the financial base have been established strictly in order to have a stronger anchor in terms of reducing inflation and expectations.

On behalf of the government, as well as Dujovne and Sandleris, the Economic Policy Secretary took part in the meeting this afternoon Miguel Braun; Treasury Secretary, Rodrigo Pena; second vice president of Central Bank, Veronica Rappoport; and Argentina's representative before the IMF, Gabriel Lopetegui.
