SATU Mission NUSantara SpaceX


CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida – SpaceX has targeted this evening, February 21 for the launch of the Nusantara Satu satellite of Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The 32 minute launch window was opened tonight at 8:45 p.m. EST, or 1:45 PM UTC on February 22. Falcon 9 will also provide a Beresheet Shipyard and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) S5 to orbit. The presentations will take around 33 and 44 minutes after a lift.

A 32 minute backup opening window opens on Friday, February 22 at 8:41 p.m. EST, or 1:41 UTC on February 23.

The first stage of Falcon 9 for the Nusantara Satu mission previously supported the Iridium-7 mission in July 2018 and the SAOCOM 1A mission in October 2018. Following a stage separation, SpaceX will try to put a step first Falcon 9 on the Droneship "Of course I Still Love You", which will be installed in the Atlantic Ocean.
