Facebook App: Opening Links in External Browser
A particular problem with the in-app Facebook browser is making web site requests intermittently without cookies that were previously set. This seems to be a browser flaw that should be addressed shortly. The simplest way to avoid this problem is to continue using the Facebook app but not using the in-app browser. This can be done by the following steps:
- Open the settings menu by clicking on the hamburger menu at the top right
- Select “App Settings” from the menu
- Turn on the option “Links Open Externally” (This will use the device’s default browser)
