[LISTEN] My Life Beyond HIV

Pholokgolo Ramothwala has helped shape the HIV / Aids coverage in South Africa for over twenty years through its work in the Treatment Action Campaign.

In addition, he helps the person who has suffered the illness through their own business, Positive Convention Network.

He recently published his book My Life Beyond HIV: What I learned HIV for me in 20 years.

Ramothwala sat with the Azania Mosaka to talk about his notable journey.

My younger sister arrives after me, we talk a lot and she is supportive. The people of their coverage help a lot.

My work is now 90% working with people who have been infected. Most of them have a process, some, in five years, still do not have the energy to talk to anyone for being positive. I get people who say that you are the first person I have revealed this and I've been positive for eight years.
