Hoërskool's fourth learner Driehoek has died, and Gauteng MEC for Panyaza Lesufi Education confirmed on Sunday. In a tweet, Lesufi sent his sympathy to the family and said that they could count on the support of the department.
Twenty-two learners stay in hospital after a bridge that connects two blocks of school buildings to demolish on Friday morning.
Lesufi said the condition of the fourth child worsened on Saturday and was going out of the theater several times.

He said that the school's leadership would visit the family on Sunday morning and that a funeral and memorial service would be arranged shortly.
News24 said there was a concrete slab above a corridor that connects two blocks of buildings to 26 learners on Friday morning.
The event happened a few minutes after 08:00, when learners entered morning morning classes.
Roydon Olckers, Jandré Steyn and Marli Currie lost their lives in the school disaster on Friday. Overall, another 23 were taken to various hospitals in the area.
